This item is actually functional and useful. I have it attached to my kitchen cabinet drawer and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I can prepare my veggies and slide all the trimmings right into the receptacle for my compost. As soon as it is full, I just pull the compostable bag out and drop it into the green bin and just replace with a clean compostable bag. Easy!
I like the product except that I had to create a way to hang it on the inside of my cabinet door. I should be made so that the pail edges are low enough hang either way. Other than that I like the product.
I received the package a couple of days after I ordered it - nice not having to wait a long time like other companies.
First thing that I noticed was it was a nice quality plastic and seemed sturdy. The trash can is folded and pops out with medium pressure to double the size, perfect size to catch peeled vegetables and discarded parts of food I chop and cut
The top of the unit has a ridge that fits perfectly over the top of counter drawer. It fits nice and snug so there is no movement - it is nice and stable. I put a plastic bag as a liner into the basket. The size holds a nice amount of food debris so I don’t have to constantly empty it for a normal meal or prep task .
The only possible drawback was that when I was moving about, it collapsed on one side a few times. It’s very easy to just pop back out however. I will probably order another as I can think of a few other uses

I love my little mini garbage holder, instead of just a white bag hanging from my knob on the drawer! This is awesome! As you can see in the first photo, you can completely close it to make it smaller when you're not using it. Then just open it with no effort at all and the third picture is showing you just how deep it is inside love this.
